Esso venne pubblicato anche nel febbraio 1962 all’interno dell’EP “RCA family record center” (RCA PR-121); questo disco era un compact 33 promozionale, edito solo per essere usato nei negozi di dischi. Nessuna delle otto canzoni era completa ed un annunciatore interrompeva spesso il brano annunciando delle emissioni RCA.

ALTRE NOTIZIE:
la take 1 di “Good luck charm” venne pubblicata dalla RCA inglese nel 1982 all’interno del box di 10 extended play a tiratura limitata “The E.P. collection, volume 2”.
La stessa versione venne poi riedita nell’album della RCA tedesca “Rare Elvis, volume 3” nel 1983.
La caratteristica di questa prima take è che Elvis, mentre canta, esclama: “Somebody goofed”, cioè “Qualcuno ha preso un granchio”, riferendosi ad un errore commesso da uno dei musicisti.
Il master di questa canzone è incluso anche nel doppio CD “Elvis forever” (82876663532) edito dalla BMG nel 2004.
Si tratta di una confezione che raccoglie gli album “Elv1s 30 #1 hits” e “2nd to none”.
Inoltre nel DVD audio “Elv1s-30 #1 hits” (RCA 07863 65053-9), pubblicato nel 2002, è presente il master di questa canzone.
